Sabrina maintains the role at the Animal Hospital as a licensed veterinary technician. She grew up in Southern Oregon and Northern California. In her early twenties she spent 3.5 years in the greater Washington DC area where she obtained her Associates degree in Science. Upon moving back to Oregon she received her veterinary technician license. When Sabrina was a young child she loved animals as any little girl would. Seeing calves and barn kittens being born on the cattle ranch instilled within her a passion for helping animals at a young age. As an LVT, she assists with anesthesia in surgery, takes x-rays, performs lab duties, educates clients, and much more.
Sabrina’s personal pets include Nut the family Miniature Australian Shepard and her four cats, Peaches, Pearl, Possum, and Furbie. She also has a small herd of horses. Cali is her big grey Percheron-X mare, and Beau and PR are her miniature geldings. Her family also has a flock of chickens that free range their mini farm. In her spare time she loves spending time outdoors time with her family. Hiking, running, camping, and horseback riding are her favorite interests. Prior to giving birth to her daughter she was competitive in dressage, but now enjoys her peaceful trail rides. Her favorite two hikes so far are Half Dome in Yosemite and the Grand Canyon. She finished the Marine Corps Marathon in 2003 and has run a few half marathons and other small runs.
